The Role

Cometeer is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the state of California to expand its networks of Coffee Sampling Stations at luxury shopping malls, including The Grove, Beverly Center, and Century City. As the Manager, your primary goal will be hitting or exceeding sales targets at all Sampling Stations. Your team will include 15+ sales associates across multiple luxury shopping malls, highly motivated by commission. Daily responsibilities include overseeing and improving operations, including hiring, training, scheduling, inventory management, and developing standard operating procedures. You will also be responsible for opening new sampling locations at premium shopping malls. We are looking for a motivated and passionate individual who is excited to represent the Cometeer brand and create memorable experiences for our customers.

What you’ll do:

  • Set and achieve ambitious sales targets for each activation
  • Train and hire associates and local site supervisors for individual mall activations, helping bring overall sales to quota
  • Supervise multiple coffee sampling stations to create scalable and reliable systems for inventory management, staffing, scheduling, and ensuring excellent customer service
  • Lead by example by working at least 1 shift per week at each kiosk, actively engaging with customers, providing product information, and resolving any issues to create a positive customer experience
  • Ensure that the kiosk runs smoothly and efficiently, optimizing sales and minimizing waste
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and grow the business
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to design and implement advertising and promotional campaigns

What we are looking for:

  • Strong communication and leadership skills, leading and motivating a team of kiosk staff to deliver exceptional performance
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships with customers and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask effectively, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and achieve goals
  • Flexible availability to work weekends, holidays and occasional evenings as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the kiosk
  • ServSafe Food Handling Certification preferred

Required:

  • 2+ years of experience supervising cafe/retail operations
  • Proven track record of driving sales and meeting targets
  • Passion for coffee and a knowledge of specialty coffee is a plus
  • Note that this is NOT a remote position and you will be required to work on-site
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
